What are Poppadoms?
Poppadoms are light and crispy disc-shaped snacks, made from seasoned dough, fried in oil. The dough may be made from various sources, such as chickpeas, tapioca, rice amongst many others, but for Uncle Saba’s Poppadoms, we use split urad dhal (black lentil flour), which are fried to golden perfection in palm oil. Any excess oil is removed.

Why are lentil chips healthier to other type of chips?
The plant-based snack is suitable for vegans, cholesterol free, gluten free, high in protein and high in fibre! It’s a healthier alternative to oilier snacks.

What is the sodium content of each serving?
The actual taste of poppadom is naturally salty. Uncle Saba's Poppadoms sodium content is very low, containing 1.1 grams - 1.5 grams of salt per serving.
